Community Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Manager to join our team at Rebellion. As a Community Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing social media and community plans for our games, with a focus on one franchise while supporting others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and deliver various marketing, development, and social information through forums, social media channels, blogs, website, and third-party contacts.
  • Continuously look for ways to engage and grow our games communities, specifically via Rebellion's social and community channels.
  • Collate and curate community feedback throughout different beta/Early Access programs, in addition to assisting with program administration.
  • Create and manage processes to track and keep monitored each communication activation making sure our qualitative and quantitative objectives are always properly met.
  • Forge strong and trusted relationships with key evangelists and influencers of our gamers and of our gaming genres, and encourage friendly, constructive interaction across our channels.
  • Work alongside Product Marketing and PR to ensure community initiatives are primed, timed, and apt to our audiences.
  • Run innovative campaigns, competitions, and experiences across our social media and community channels.
  • Support the wider Marketing and Community team when various other products reach peak activity during their campaign cycle.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of current online game communities.
  • Enthusiastic gaming knowledge, especially regarding the shooter and action genres.
  • Previous online moderation/admin experience that can be viewed online.
  • Tactics to grow multiple social channels.
  • Passionate about new digital channels, new trends, new rising areas of online opportunity.
  • Ability to communicate detailed solutions to any problems encountered.
  • Able to manage the demands of numerous people and tasks.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Previous experience working as a Community Manager in the gaming industry.
