TPF Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts and Audit Senior to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing company accounts and corporation tax returns, as well as assisting in the preparation of the audit plan and ensuring it appropriately addresses audit objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years practice experience dealing with accounts preparation and assisting with audits, particularly with fieldwork. They will also be AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA or ACA.

The role offers a range of benefits, including dependent on experience and background negotiable salary, 20 days annual leave, 8 days for bank holidays, 4% matched pension, remote working schedule, free eye tests, group life assurance, group income protection, retail discount scheme, and informal bonus scheme.

As an Audit and Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, Ltd companies, and partnerships
  • Assist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives
  • Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
  • Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
  • Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
