Job Summary

TPF Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts and Audit Semi Senior to join one of Surrey's leading Chartered Accountancy Practices. The successful candidate will work in a friendly and supportive environment with full study support and excellent progression opportunities.

The role offers a unique blend of large client exposure and a relaxed working environment. As an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior, you will be responsible for preparing company accounts and corporation tax returns, assisting in the preparation of the audit plan, and overseeing all aspects of audit fieldwork.

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including small and large companies, as well as not-for-profit organizations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of practice experience, be AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA or ACA, and possess strong communication and team working skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Assistance in the preparation of the audit plan and ensuring it addresses audit objectives
  • Overseeing all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
  • Ensuring planned audit work is completed to satisfy audit objectives
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of practice experience dealing with accounts preparation and assisting with audits
  • AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA or ACA
  • Well-organized and able to work autonomously
  • Experience of dealing with clients face-to-face
  • A team player with a willingness to offer help to others
