Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centred care to patients with mental health conditions, including those with complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide interventions to promote patient recovery and well-being.
- Supervise and support junior staff members, including students and healthcare support workers.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with valid NMC registration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centred care.
- Up-to-date knowledge of mental health legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Recent experience in older adult mental health, with a strong understanding of the needs of this patient group.
