Job Title: Weekend Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Regional Recruitment Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures and ensure smooth operations.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues, including electrical panels, PLCs, and control systems.
  • Perform mechanical repairs, including bearing replacement, compressor checks, and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Carry out facility maintenance tasks, including basic repairs and maintenance of site services.
  • Develop and implement new methods and procedures for plant improvement, ensuring continuous efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge, including experience with conveyors, welding pipework, hydraulics, pneumatics, motor control, sensors, safety circuits, PLCs, inverters, and electrical drawings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable: Electrical qualifications and mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with bearings, compressors, chains, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
