**About the Role:**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate French Teacher to join our team at a mainstream secondary school in Guildford.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive French lessons to students of varying abilities, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to promote student engagement and achievement
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing effective strategies for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver an inspiring curriculum that aligns with national standards and the school's objectives
  • Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative learning community

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Degree in French or a related field
  • Proven experience teaching French at secondary level, preferably within a mainstream school
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Understanding and knowledge of the UK national curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest educational practices

Salary and Benefits:
