Career Opportunity:

We are seeking a proactive problem solver, a confident communicator, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of other professionals.

The Civil Engineering Graduate vacancy role would suit a BEng / MEng (Hons) qualified civil engineering graduate who is either newly qualified or has some relevant experience within the industry.

If you are an experienced site engineer, you will hold a CSCS card in the appropriate discipline, have an SSSTS card and ICE membership as well as good understanding of ITP's and quality assurance processes.

Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving license is essential and the successful candidate will be happy to travel throughout our Northern Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Progress the construction process and assist in delivering the project.
  • Become or be proficient in all basic setting out techniques on site, including production of as-built records.
  • Manage setting out requirements on site, own time/tasks & self-development.
  • Communication with site foreman and subcontractors to aid construction.
  • Manage site activities and carry out relevant inspections and testing to ensure conformance of the works.
  • Complete relevant site records as required, including daily site daily.
  • Undertake basic take-offs.
  • Raising technical queries with designers and other members of the client team.
  • Read and review construction drawings.
