Role: Quality Assurance Specialist
At Babcock International Group, we're working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time and fit for purpose.

The Role

  • Provide support to projects to define appropriate quality requirements and work with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure design intent is achieved.
  • Interfacing with project management on project quality-related matters.
  • Review and provide improvements into project deliverable documentation.
  • Conducting internal audits.
  • Developing and maintaining KPIs and metrics.
  • Representing the quality department in weekly project meetings when required.

This role is full-time, 35 hours per week, based at Devonport Royal Dockyard with a hybrid working arrangement and periodic travel to other sites.

Experience of the Quality Assurance Specialist:

  • Awareness of quality management systems (BS EN ISO).
  • Ability to act competently, decisively, and quickly on quality-related issues.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Nuclear sector experience beneficial.

Qualifications of the Quality Assurance Specialist:

  • Educated to HNC/HND level in a relevant subject (desirable).
  • Recognised professional qualification in Quality Management (desirable).

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
