About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Shaw Trust as a Quality Assurance Specialist, where you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and training programs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and quality-assuring the L3 Diploma in Nail Technology qualification delivered in our Plymouth centre through our Advanced Learner Loan contract.

You will ensure a high quality of teaching, learning, and assessment of learners, while attaining high levels of learner and employer satisfaction and high success rates.

Key tasks will include:

  • Ensuring all quality monitoring activity is completed to required standard in line with our quality framework and Scheme of Work
  • Driving learner progression and profiled completions
  • Identifying areas of underachievement and providing ongoing support to operational teams
  • Quality assuring skills contracts assigned to the role by sector competences and geography

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Assessor and IQA qualifications
  • Experience of designing programs, including high-quality Scheme of Work
  • Understanding of appropriate quality assurance frameworks, such as the Education Inspection Framework
