Education Assistant for Students with Special Needs Required

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Team Teach trained Education Assistant to join our Sixth Form team in West London.

Job Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and experienced Education Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a Sixth Form setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans, ensuring students receive tailored support.
  • Provide targeted support to students, promoting their academic progress and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to regular team meetings, facilitating open communication among staff members.
Requirements:
  • Team Teach Certification: Essential for managing behavior and supporting students effectively, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Previous experience supporting young people with SEND in education, demonstrating expertise in this area.
  • Passion for inclusive education and commitment to promoting positive outcomes for all students, driving educational excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents, facilitating effective collaboration.
