Tonic Talent is seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to oversee the back of the house in our client's fast-paced, fresh-food cafe & restaurant located within a busy visitor attraction. The company is looking for a talented Executive Chef who wants to push the standards, drive sales and use their experience to improve all BOH business areas.

What are we looking for from the successful Executive Chef?

  • You will ideally have experience in a quality, fresh-food, fast-paced restaurant; however, if you have only worked in a branded restaurant but have a passion for what you do and understand 'real' hospitality, this is for you.
  • Previous experience as a head chef is desirable but not essential - you could be a Sous looking to step up as long as you have experience writing rotas, stocktake and ordering.
  • Your CV must demonstrate loyalty to previous employers.
  • Candidates must be driven, ambitious, and committed to their careers. They must see the long-term opportunity of working in this business.
  • A genuine passion for people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the culinary team to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Collaborate with the management team to drive business growth and profitability

  • Proven experience as a head chef or executive chef in a similar environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
