Quest Search and Selection Ltd is seeking a skilled Merchandiser to join their team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a passion for fashion and retail.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Buyer to drive sales and margins within the Womenswear ranges. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing department strategies to achieve targeted sales, stock turn, markdown, and profit goals.
- Collaborating with the Buyer to construct commercial ranges that meet business objectives.
- Managing in-season Open-to-Buy down to category level using WSSI and Compass.
- Effective range planning and markdown control to maintain Terminal Stocks within budgeted levels.
- Managing the supply base, monitoring commitment and Intake, and working closely with suppliers to minimize lead times and improve availability.
- Training, motivating, and developing Junior/Assistant Merchandisers and Merchandise Administrators.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience as a Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser.
- A proven track record of driving department or company strategies and leading teams.
- Excellent knowledge of forecasting principles.
- Strong stakeholder experience.
