Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Merchandising Specialist to join our team. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for placing POS (point of sale) and in-store media in Asda stores. This role requires flexibility, with a typical call lasting 2 hours per week, every Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sign into the store, introduce yourself to key store contacts, and locate previously delivered POS.
  • Liaise with store colleagues to place bollard covers, promotional barkers, and other POS in designated sections of the store.
  • Use a stepladder to place media at height, as required.

Requirements

  • Availability to work every Thursday, with calls completed between 6am and 4pm.
  • Ownership of a smartphone (Android or Apple) for reporting visits in store.
  • Comfortable working at height using a stepladder.
  • Competence in using and navigating an app-based system.
  • Ability to work in store, navigating around the store and potentially moving heavier boxes of POS or stock.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with POS is essential.
