Job Overview:The successful candidate will oversee daily production activities, ensuring production schedules are met and driving performance in key areas such as safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead a team of production staff to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Oversee and execute production schedules to ensure customer requirements are met on time and in full.
- Monitor and improve performance across safety, quality, cost, and delivery metrics, achieving consistent KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, customer codes of practice, and internal quality standards.
- Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to optimise processes and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with Management to ensure smooth shift transitions and effective communication across teams.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to senior management on performance, issues, and achievements.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in leadership roles within FMCG or food manufacturing sectors.
- Proven track record in managing medium to large teams and achieving operational KPIs.
- Strong leadership skills, engaging, motivating, and developing teams at all levels.
- Experience in managing production environments, ensuring health and safety, food safety, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills, interacting with clients and stakeholders.
