Reinsurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Technician to join our team at Guy Carpenter, a leading global risk and reinsurance specialist. As a Reinsurance Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our clients and managing their reinsurance portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums and claims.
- Manage all XOL post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps.
- Promote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets
- Participate in training sessions and provide input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting.
- Professional/Insurance or Reinsurance experience and a desire to move into the Reinsurance sector.
- Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Willingness to learn.
- Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations.
- We offer and embrace a hybrid working model that nurtures a collaborative working environment in the office 2 days per week allowing 3 days per week to be spent working on a remote basis once trained.
