Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Technician to join our team. As a Reinsurance Technician, you will be responsible for managing an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums, and claims. You will also be responsible for managing all XOL post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums, and claims.
- Manage all XOL post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps.
- Promote, build, and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets.
- Participate in training sessions and provide input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Professional/Insurance or Reinsurance experience and a desire to move into the Reinsurance sector.
- Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Willingness to learn.
- Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations.
