About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Marine Claims Adjuster to join our team at Undisclosed. As a Marine Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for handling marine claims from adjudication, providing management and clients with an efficient and effective claims service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling marine claims from adjudication, including providing management and clients with an efficient and effective claims service.
- Supporting the team in handling a wide variety of marine classes, including Political Risk and Product Recall classes.
- Managing claims electronically, predominately via ECF and DocoSoft.
- Maintaining compliance with internal and external risk controls and regulatory requirements.
- Supervising and monitoring organizations where the syndicate has delegated claims authority.
- Notifying and reporting claims notifications to underwriters and senior management where necessary.
- Handling major claims through discovery process and dispute resolution.
- Managing multiple claims in their class of business and in multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements:
- Experience in marine and energy classes.
- Detailed understanding of the London Market regulatory environment and implications for Undisclosed and our clients.
- Litigation, mediation, dispute resolution, and deposition skills.
- Use of internal underwriting and claims systems and relevant software packages.
- Ability to identify trends and understand how these may impact on Claims and the Syndicate more broadly.
