Marine Claims Adjuster

Harrison Holgate is seeking a skilled Marine Claims Adjuster to join our team in the City. As a Marine Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for handling Hull and Machinery claims, ensuring reserves are established in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle claims from first notification to completion, ensuring reserves are established in line with agreed claims authorities.
- Monitor and process claims on ECF daily, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Underwriters, Management, and Operations teams.
- Provide support to the Claims team as required, ensuring seamless claim handling.
- Liaise with external experts as necessary to resolve claims efficiently.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in Marine Hull claims handling, either as an Insurer or Broker.
- ECF Processing experience, with a strong understanding of claims management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex claims information.
- Confident and articulate, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
