Role Overview:
Gearset Limited is seeking a talented Marketing and Event Manager to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive events strategy, aligned with company goals and priorities. This role requires a strong understanding of marketing principles and excellent communication skills.

  • Design and deliver an events strategy that balances brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Create and maintain processes ensuring high-quality events across all formats.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments.
  • Foster effective communication with various audiences, leveraging different channels and mediums.
  • Promote data-driven decision making within the team.
  • Lead and develop an events team to consistently deliver high-standard events and experiences supporting commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team delivering high-quality events, both internal and external.
  • Design and deliver an events strategy aligned with company goals and priorities, balancing brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Create and maintain processes ensuring high-quality events across all formats.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments.
  • Foster effective communication with various audiences, leveraging different channels and mediums.
  • Collaborate in hands-on event management and on-the-ground support.
  • Maintain attention to detail, working closely with sales and customer success teams to deliver exceptional events.
  • Occasional travel for on-site event support.

About You:

  • Previous experience in delivering B2B event marketing strategies, preferably within the SaaS software sector.
  • Thrives in collaborative environments, accustomed to fast-paced scenarios.
  • Dedicated to continuous learning and improvement, comfortable with feedback exchange.
  • Strategic thinking, with a commercial focus.
  • Proven leadership skills, specifically managing a team.
  • Adept at cross-functional collaboration within diverse teams.

Working Arrangements:

  • This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with flexibility for home working (typically 2-3 days per week).
