Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Professional to join our team at Signet Recruitment and Retention. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure our client remains a leader in commercial arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of suppliers, ensuring continuous improvement and added value throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Develop category strategies, support sourcing events, and manage category-level risks.
- Utilize commercial expertise to help swiftly adapt to market changes.
- Lead and evaluate competitive tenders and proposals for goods and services.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on sourcing projects using available tools.
- Adhere to company and department standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience in complex supply chain environments.
- Ability to prioritize and manage risk and complexity effectively.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and suppliers to drive meaningful change.
- Strong networking skills and ability to build productive relationships across the team.
- Capable of challenging industry norms and identifying opportunities for performance improvement.
What We Offer:
