Job Title: Specialist Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dedicated therapy team at our Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Greenwich. As a Specialist OT, you will play a crucial role in the assessment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning of patients with neurological and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the multidisciplinary team in diagnosis, problem formulation, and rehabilitation planning.
  • Act as a Key Worker/Named Therapist to coordinate and manage therapeutic programs aimed at achieving agreed rehabilitation goals.
  • Play a crucial role in planning safe discharges for patients.
  • Prescribe and provide necessary equipment to support patient rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate within the MDT to support service development.
  • Maintain accurate records and clinical notes in line with company policy and RCOT guidelines.
  • Contribute to the in-service education and training programs for the wider MDT.
  • Safeguard patients' wellbeing and protect their human rights.

Requirements:

  1. HCPC registration
  2. RCOT registration
  3. Previous experience in a neurorehabilitation setting
  4. Ability to motivate patients over extended periods
  5. Successful candidates will undergo an Enhanced DBS check
