We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technical Trainer to join our team at Pybus Recruitment.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessments within apprenticeships, short courses, and manufacturer-led programmes. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive technical skills and experience in training or teaching.

Main Responsibilities
  • To deliver the skills, knowledge, and behavioural components of the automotive Apprenticeship Standards.
  • To develop and update training materials and courses to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • To maintain and develop training aids, workshop facilities, and resources to ensure a high-quality learning environment.
  • To complete timely assessments of apprentice work and provide constructive feedback.
Essential Requirements
  • A level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance is essential, along with a teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • The ideal candidate will have a full driving license and hold a First Aid at Work Qualification or be willing to undertake it.
  • Satisfactory enhanced DBS checks are required for this role.
