Job Title: Aircraft Compliance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Compliance Manager to join our team at Gama Aviation LLC. As a key member of our Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the standards of Regulatory Compliance are managed and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and control activities of the organization with regard to regulations and company legislative requirements
  • Deputize for the Head of Compliance in their absence
  • Ensure Compliance (Quality) procedures under their jurisdiction are reviewed and maintained by company procedures
  • Carry out internal and external audits as required by the Audit Program and make recommendations as necessary to the Head of Compliance
  • Assist the Head of Compliance in the control of 3rd Party Sub Contractors for Part 145 and Part 21 activities
  • Assist the Head of Compliance in continuation training needs for all engineering staff
  • Assist and support in the resolution of incidents and occurrences as part of the Gama Group Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Issue authorizations on behalf of the Head of Compliance to suitably qualified and competent persons, and maintain appropriate records
  • Assist the Head of Compliance in promoting good practices across all Gama engineering activities with the adoption of joint procedures and processes
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience within Compliance/Compliance Assurance, preferably in an aerospace organization engaged in aircraft or component maintenance and repair/modification
  • Completed a recognized auditor's course
  • Conversant with current aerospace regulations, including Part 145 and 147
  • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding of the applicable regulation to a standard acceptable to the UK CAA and other authorities
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to compile written reports to a high standard
  • Flexible individual with the ability to adapt to the needs of the organization
