Linux Engineer Job Description

DGH Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global organisation for a Linux Engineer to join the team on a contract basis.

This role will be part of an enterprise infrastructure team focusing on operational day-to-day support, maintenance, and service management of key systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for Linux-based systems and applications
  • Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems and administration
  • Experience with Ansible and Red Hat
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in the office
