Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our Data Centre and Networks (DCN) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters, Linux systems, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters
  • Full lifecycle management of all hardware in our data centres
  • Linux provisioning and rebuilds
  • Responding to monitoring alarms and tracking performance metrics
  • Diagnose and fix hardware and software issues
  • Actioning and resolving tickets from other Brandwatch engineers
  • Dealing with suppliers, checking in deliveries, processing RMAs, and managing stock
  • Working with onsite data centre staff to resolve environment and power issues

Requirements:

  • Experience with systems administration, site reliability engineering, DevOps, and IT support
  • Experience with a distributed system, ideally Kubernetes
  • Installed and used at least one of Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Illumos, or NetBSD
  • Ability to script or program in any language
  • Ability to lift 10 kg (racking servers if needed)
