About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals struggling with substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop effective recovery plans for service users.
  • Provide education and health promotion services, including Hepatitis B vaccinations and Naloxone training.
  • Collaborate with service users to develop therapeutic alliances and promote harm reduction strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to UK guidelines and CGL clinical protocols.
  • Record and input client data accurately and efficiently.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A first-level registered nurse qualification and current PIN.
  • Recent relevant post-qualification experience in substance misuse treatment.
  • Sound knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions.
  • Ability to assess and recovery plan service users.
  • Clinical auditing skills to inform service evaluation.
