Job Title: Director of People Performance

About the Role:

Hawkwood is partnering with a purpose-driven, FinTech start-up to find a Head of People to lead the business from a People, Culture, and Talent perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute People Strategy: Craft and execute a comprehensive People and Talent strategy that aligns with the company's mission and growth objectives, ensuring it is agile and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Build a High-Performance Culture: Drive initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture across all levels of the organization.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention to support the company's rapid growth. Ensure the attraction, hiring, and retention of top talent, aligning recruitment efforts with long-term business goals.
  • Employee Development and Engagement: Create and implement employee development programs that foster learning, growth, and career progression, while driving engagement and satisfaction.
  • International Expansion: Support the business with their continued growth into new locations, including working closely with EORs (Employee of Records) to ensure compliance.
  • HR Operations and Compliance: Oversee all HR operations, ensuring policies, procedures, and practices are efficient, compliant, and aligned with local and international labor laws.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a People Leadership role within a high-growth start-up or scale-up environment, ideally within the tech or fintech sector.
  • Passion for culture and employee experience, with a deep understanding of how to build and maintain a high-performance, inclusive, and engaging workplace.
  • International experience, particularly in managing HR operations and talent strategies across multiple countries or regions.
  • Data-driven approach and ability to utilize people analytics to drive decision-making and measure the impact of people strategies.
  • Passion for the company's mission to revolutionize financial infrastructure in emerging markets and excitement to be a key part of their growth journey.
