About the Team:

Our team of Risk and Controls professionals works closely with colleagues across Barclays to ensure the effective management of risks across our operations. We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join our team as an AVP, bringing expertise in risk-based auditing and assurance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of audits aligned to the bank's standards and objectives, working collaboratively with colleagues to provide accurate information and recommendations.
  • Identifying areas of high risk and developing strategies to address these risks, in collaboration with other functions and business divisions.
  • Providing expert advice to stakeholders on audit-related matters, including risk and control issues.
  • Collaborating with other functions and business divisions to ensure effective risk management.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively. A strong understanding of regulatory environment within the UK is also essential.

Expected Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
