Ecologist / Senior Ecologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to join our team at Flagship Consulting. As a key member of our consultancy team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality ecological services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out field surveys, including UKHab surveys and protected species surveys, to assess the ecological impact of development projects.
- Conduct day-to-day office-based work, such as project management, report writing, and client liaison, to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
- Develop and implement ecological project management plans to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality ecological services, including survey and assessment techniques, and provide expert advice to clients.
- Degree in a relevant subject, such as ecology, biology, or environmental science.
- CIEEM membership and a protected species licence or willingness to obtain one.
- Minimum of two years post-qualification experience in an ecologically focused role, preferably in ecological consultancy.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, with a full driving licence and legal entitlement to work in the UK.
