About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Stroud. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health) and Challenging Behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with additional needs, including SEMH and Challenging Behaviour, to ensure they receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation to create engaging and interactive learning activities.
  • Encourage students to develop their social skills and build positive relationships with others.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with additional needs.
