Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assessment and Support Officer - Adult Social Care to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting financial assessments, providing benefits advice, and ensuring that customers receive the support they need.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Care Act, specifically the elements related to charging for services and financial assessments. They will also possess high-quality customer care and communication skills, with the ability to work with vulnerable adults.

A salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the role attracts an essential car user allowance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent numerical skills, be able to work independently, and manage your own caseload of work. You will also be able to work as part of a busy team, providing support to colleagues as needed.
