Medical Surgical RN Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Medical Surgical RN to join our team for a 13-week contract in a busy hospital setting. As a Medical Surgical RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those with neurological conditions.

About the Opportunity:
This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team, gain valuable experience, and advance your career as a Medical Surgical RN. You will have the chance to develop and implement individualized care plans, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, and demonstrate expertise in SBAR communication.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient-centered care to Medical Surgical patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers using SBAR principles
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care

Requirements and Qualifications:
* TN License
* 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical
* BSN degree
* AHA BLS certification
* NIHSS training preferred
