About the Role:

We are recruiting a Neurological Physiotherapist Leader to contribute to our team's success. As a key figure, you will oversee the medical and physical management of spasticity, develop complex postural management plans, and assess disorders of consciousness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement evidence-based practices for spasticity management
  • Design and implement effective postural management strategies
  • Clinically assess patients with disorders of consciousness
  • Prescribe and fit orthotics as required
  • Lead educational workshops on hydrotherapy techniques
  • Maintain knowledge of specialist equipment and its applications
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to manage Behaviours that Challenge
  • Coordinated tracheostomy management and weaning
  • Develop and monitor patient-centered goals
  • Foster a culture of patient safety and human rights
Management Responsibilities:
  • Promote service development and innovation
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior staff
  • Design and deliver training programs
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making
Requirements:
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Significant experience in neurorehabilitation
  • Tracheostomy training
  • Post-graduate qualifications in a neuro-specific field
Salary:

£62,000 - £72,000 per annum, depending on experience
