We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical / Counselling / Forensic Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Cygnet Hospital Godden Green. As a part-time Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and contribute to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and provide evidence-based therapy to individuals and groups.
- Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with the MDT.
- Provide training and supervision to colleagues and consultation to teams.
- Evaluate the service and contribute to its development, as well as conducting clinical research.
- Disseminate outcomes through conference presentations and publications.
We are looking for a HCPC registered Clinical / Counselling / Forensic Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting. Ideally, you will have training in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical, and DBT. You will be passionate about working with individuals with complex mental health needs and have the ability to treat difficulties such as self-harm, physical and verbal aggression, history of sexual offending, and drug and alcohol problems.
