Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Mental Health Physiotherapy Inpatients Team as an Apprentice Assistant Practitioner.
This diverse role involves providing support to a team of Physiotherapy clinicians, conducting assessments under set protocols and delivering treatment sessions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and prioritisation skills.
You will work closely with physiotherapy staff, patients, and other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team in a flexible environment.
Previous experience as a Physiotherapy Clinical Support worker is essential, and you will be supported to complete our in-house local competency training framework.
Key Responsibilities- Providing support to Physiotherapy clinicians
- Conducting assessments and delivering treatment sessions
- Working collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team
The salary for this role is £26,530 - £29,114 per annum pro rata, reflecting the location in Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust.
