The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is a leading provider of social care in Scotland, supporting over 2800 individuals in their own homes across the country. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Bank Support Practitioner to join our team in East Fife. As a Bank Support Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in someone's life by providing support with daily tasks, administering medication, and encouraging engagement with community activities. Our training program ensures that all new staff members receive comprehensive training prior to starting work, covering classroom-based sessions, e-learning, and on-the-job shadowing.

In this role, you can expect to work weekends, shift patterns, and sleepovers if required. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Social Support: Assisting individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various clubs and leisure activities.
  • Medical Support: Administering and monitoring medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Practical Support: Helping people to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping.

We offer a competitive salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including paid travel during shifts, fuel allowance, continuous in-house training opportunities, and a refer-a-friend scheme.
