Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager for Industrial Control Systems to join our team. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development of industrial control systems for various industries.

The ideal candidate should possess experience in technical development of design documentation, PLC configuration, SCADA, HMI, testing, and commissioning. Success in this role hinges on a robust comprehension of the project life-cycle, from conception to fruition.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage a team of engineers responsible for designing, configuring, and commissioning control systems.
  2. Develop control system software and test it thoroughly.
  3. Commission electrical control panels.
  4. Configure PLC software from Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Schneider.
  5. Install and configure networks including fibre optic, Ethernet, and Profibus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial control systems engineering.
  • Strong understanding of PLC programming and SCADA systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £85,000 per annum, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
