Role Description: Prison Volunteer

We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide support and guidance to prisoners in developing their literacy and numeracy skills.

About the Role:

  • Deliver training sessions for prison mentors to enhance their ability to unlock the potential of reading.
  • Offer ongoing advice, guidance, and support through regular meetings with prison mentors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and deliver training programs that cater to the needs of prisoners.
  • Provide expert guidance on effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • A passion for improving literacy and numeracy skills among prisoners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
