An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Risk Management Professional to join our team. As a key member, you will assist in the continuous development and embedding of the Risk Management Framework across the Group. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the Group's risk management processes
- Engaging actively with the business on risk-related matters
- Being a first point of contact for the business with risk enquiries
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of the business
The Risk Team continues to develop and embed the Risk Management Framework across the Group, seeking to identify issues through thematic analysis and having a comprehensive understanding of the business. Your tasks will include:
- Preparing and delivering risk management workshops with the business to implement the risk management framework
- Completing the Key Risk Assessment and Appetite statements
- Developing and producing top-down key risk assessments and scenario analysis
- Assisting in the production of the Group's Internal Capital and Risk Assessment (ICARA)
- Assisting and developing the Group's Key Risk Dashboard and other monthly reporting
- Assisting and guiding the business in completing the Risk and Control Self Assessments
- Capturing, assessing, reporting, and escalating risk events
- Completing Deep Dives into specific areas of focus and interest
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A proven background in financial services risk management, ideally within an investment or wealth management organization
- Confidence to lead and present work to all levels, including the Board
- Ability to work well in pressurized environments with demonstrable ability to prioritize work
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a team player
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Educated to degree level, equivalent, or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience
- Relevant professional qualification(s) advantageous but not essential with requisite experience
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 per annum, private medical insurance, life assurance, pension contribution, hybrid working model, generous holiday package, option to purchase additional holiday, and shared parental leave.
