We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Royal Victoria Hospital, Dundee. As a key member of our SLT team, you will deliver high-quality rehabilitation services in community settings, supporting the flow of stroke patients from hospital to rehabilitation. Your expertise in complex dysphagia and communication difficulties, particularly in stroke care, will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist rehabilitation services in community settings, including patient's own homes and nursing homes.
  • Work closely with the SLT team to provide support for patients with a range of neurological conditions and dementia.
  • Collaborate with the wider AHP stroke rehabilitation team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide in-reach services to the Stroke rehabilitation unit in Royal Victoria Hospital, Dundee.
  • Participate in regular local and regional meetings to contribute to service development and audit.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration.
  • Ability to travel.
  • 37 hours per week (with flexibility to work part-time or at Band 6 level).
