As the Pastry Chef, you will:

  • Deliver creative and enviable desserts that exceed guest expectations
  • Adapt and produce beyond the expectations of the Head Chef
  • Communicate effectively with the team and adapt to change in a professional manner
  • Enhance the team's desire to win and build a strong work ethic
  • Communicate expertly in both verbal and written situations

The typical responsibilities of our Pastry Chef will be:

  • To support the Senior Chefs in delivering our spectacular menu
  • To ensure the highest standards of health & safety are met and the kitchen is compliant
  • To follow, support, push, and improve the highest levels of standards in terms of what we produce for our guests
  • To train, encourage, and motivate junior chefs, enabling them to progress and learn in an inclusive environment
  • To be responsible for the control and replenishment of consumable stock and ensuring all orders are received and distributed as appropriate
  • To support the Head Chef in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, storerooms, fridges, and other associated areas, in line with current legislation regarding food safety and HACCP
  • To record and maintain accurate daily and weekly checks regarding Health & Safety and Hygiene
