Chubb Fire & Security UK, a leading provider of fire safety and security solutions & services, is seeking an experienced IT Technical Service Manager to join our team in Blackburn. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of exceptional products to our customers and developing and maintaining the Chubb Community Care software solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute test plans to check technical performance of infrastructure and report findings.
- Develop policies for standardizing systems and manage all aspects of Software & Tech Support Teams.
- Lead the Software development & Technical Support teams.
- Lead and improve the Chubb Community Care software coding methodology and improve any internal standards.
- Lead new system integration development projects and the maintenance of existing software products and solutions for the community care business.
- Improve quality control and working procedures, using the software control environments Jira software development tracking system and TortoiseSVN version control or better.
**Requirements**
- Proven ability to manage the development process of large-scale Telecare Based software & Integration projects throughout the whole software development life cycle, from requirement gathering to deployment.
- Experience in IP Networking, VoIP solutions,.Net, Windows services, SIP, AWS, Azure, Router technology and firewalls, Wireshark debugging, html, C.
- Broad technical knowledge of application architecture, system architecture, application integration, relational databases, and object-oriented languages.
- Object Oriented Languages: Java, Relational Databases: Firebird, SQL server (SQL language).
- Windows, Android.
