About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized patient care, assessing and evaluating patients' needs, and developing and implementing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safe and effective care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to NHS policies and procedures.

Person Specification
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 6 months' experience in an ICU environment, who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. You will need to be a registered nurse with the NMC, have a degree or diploma in nursing, and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
