Job Summary:

As a Construction Site Supervisor with Randstad Construction and Property, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of yourself, the workforce, and the public in accordance with Kier SHE processes and procedures. This includes managing and administering construction works in accordance with the contract, assisting with the implementation of the duties of the Principle Contractor under CDM, and ensuring ongoing compliance of relevant Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work, and Point of Work Risk Assessment/Daily Brief documents.

Key Responsibilities:

Issuing various permits for activities such as hot works and digging for various contractors in accordance with Kier processes and safe digging procedure.
Carrying out regular Health and Safety inspections, reporting all accidents, near misses, and briefing of toolbox talks.
Monitoring and recording of progress on site and communicating any issues to the relevant site manager in terms of programme and change control in accordance with the terms of the contract.
Ensuring that any changes either commercial or operational are effectively communicated to all relevant parties.
Inspecting quality of work in accordance with the inspection test plan, scheme designs, and the specification.

Requirements:

CSCS card
NVQ Level 3+ in Construction Site Supervision or equivalent
SMSTS or SSSTS certification
NRSWA Supervisor
Driving license
