As a Night Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. Your role will involve supervising and motivating a team of dedicated Care Assistants, working closely with the Deputy General Manager to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents. You will also support the clinical team in areas such as medication management, assessments, care plans, and care reviews. Our residents' dignity and preferences will always be respected, and you will play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. You should also have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We are looking for individuals who are warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to providing individualised care and support to our residents. You will have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training and development opportunities, and many of our Senior Carer Assistants progress into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles.
Our Rewards Package
In return for your dedication, you will receive a competitive rate of pay, plus our sector-leading benefits and rewards package, including free training and development, access to wellbeing and support tools, a range of retail discounts and savings, and unlimited referrals with our Refer a Friend bonus scheme. We also offer Employee of the Month rewards and Long Service Awards. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and support, and want to work for an organisation that provides the quality care you would expect for your loved ones, this is a rewarding place to be.
