Job Title: Locum Consultant in Respiratory Medicine

Medacs Healthcare is seeking an experienced Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to join our team at Wye Valley NHS Trust. As a locum consultant, you will be working on a flexible shift basis, providing expert care to patients with complex respiratory conditions.

About the Role:

As a locum consultant in respiratory medicine, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of respiratory conditions
  • Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participating in research and development to improve patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge
  • Teaching and training junior doctors and medical students
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Relevant experience at Consultant level or references to support your transition to Consultant level
  • Evidence of stand-alone Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced background check (DBS)
