Audit and Policy Senior Associate Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Policy Senior Associate to join our team at Johnston Carmichael. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day audit work, identifying and addressing issues and concerns, and ensuring that deadlines and budgets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Audit Planning: Complete audit planning documentation, arrange audit timing with the audit manager, and plan, schedule, and delegate work to audit assistants.
  2. Lead Audit Teams: Brief, train, and debrief audit assistants, provide formal feedback, and liaise with client staff to build effective relationships.
  3. Monitor Budgets and Deadlines: Monitor budgeted versus actual time spent, flag up scope issues, on-site issues, and overruns to the audit manager on a timely basis.
  4. Prepare Financial Statements: Prepare draft financial statements to a reasonable standard, free from quality control issues.
