Job Opportunity: Automotive Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Test Engineer to join our team at Seismic Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and executing tests for driveline and EDU products, ensuring the highest level of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute tests for driveline and EDU products, including durability, efficiency mapping, and performance testing
  • Work closely with customers and in-house engineer and technician teams to deliver test programs
  • Competently deliver tests, review and analyze logged data, and validate test results
  • Project tasks will include fixture design, equipment installation, test bed control system setup, test execution, data processing, and reporting

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineering
  • Interest and passion in progressing your career in driveline test and development, including HV electric machines
  • Test bed control system(s) and CAN communications (preferred)
  • CAD (preferred)
  • Instrumentation and data acquisition (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to travel as and when required
