Job Title: Automotive Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Engineer to join our team at Seismic Recruitment. As an Automotive Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and developing the next generation of driveline products for a range of applications, including Electric Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test fixtures and equipment for driveline testing
  • Conduct durability, efficiency mapping, and performance testing on electrified and conventional driveline products
  • Work closely with customers and in-house engineer and technician teams to deliver test programs
  • Analyze logged data and validate test results
  • Project tasks will include fixture design, equipment installation, test bed control system setup, test execution, data processing, and reporting
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic engineering
  • Interest and passion in progressing your career in Driveline test and development, including HV electric machines
  • Test bed control system(s) and CAN communications experience preferred
  • CAD and instrumentation and data acquisition experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to travel as and when required
