Job Description:

The Grouse Beat Keeper will be responsible for managing and maintaining the estate's grouse moor and private pheasant shoot, with a focus on conservation and sustainable practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the estate's grouse moor and upland hill farms
  • Develop and implement effective conservation strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of the grouse population
  • Maintain accurate records of grouse counts, habitat management, and other relevant data

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Shotgun certificate and firearms licence
  • Strong understanding of grouse conservation and management practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
